BACKGROUND
Before becoming a Senior Trial Attorney at Cellino & Barnes, P C., Mr. Borrelli has been successfully litigating and trying negligence, nursing home and medical malpractice cases in New York and Arizona. Throughout his career Mr. Borrelli was often retained by other law firms to act as their Trial Counsel
Mr. Borrelli has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in high exposure litigation and trial matters including, physicians, surgeons, nurses, hospitals and nursing homes. His practice in now limited to representing the injured and their families.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Borrelli worked in the insurance industry for nearly a decade, first at Liberty Mutual Insurance Company and then at Cigna/INAPRO, as a Bodily Injury Adjuster and a Medical Malpractice Analyst.
Mr. Borrelli earned his Juris Doctorate in 1990 from the Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center of Touro College in New York. Upon scholarship from Liberty Mutual Insurance Company he earned his Bachelors of Business Administration from the New York College of Insurance in Property and Casualty Business Administration in 1986.
His education and experience in the insurance industry afford him exceptional insight into how insurance companies analyze, litigate and settle cases. Armed with this knowledge and a strong desire to fight for the injured and their families, Mr. Borrelli has been successfully litigating and trying negligence, medical malpractice and nursing home neglect/abuse cases for over two decades.
