Narrative

After graduating from Hamilton College and the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School, I acted as trial counsel for a number of insurance companies in Supreme Court, counties of Chautauqua, Erie, Monroe, Niagara, Orleans, Oswego, Tompkins, Steuben and Wayne. I enjoyed the competitive aspect of the trial work but sometimes was troubled by the fact that winning my case meant that someone who was horribly injured through no fault of their own did not get the compensation that they needed to make themself whole again.

Representing those injured by someone else’s negligence is a higher calling and it has brought me tremendous personal satisfaction that I have never felt working for insurance companies.
