Few have the opportunity or privilege of knowing what profession they want to pursue at the age of 14. Although I had no family members in the legal profession, something drew me to that arena. Throughout my high school, college and law school years, I have worked at a law firm giving the breadth and depth of knowledge that has served me well. My 25 years as an attorney have been heavily concentrated in litigation and it is in that area of trial work that I find my greatest satisfaction and success.
For the first 23 years of my career, I primarily worked on the defense of civil cases through referrals from various insurance carriers whose insureds were being sued. When Cellino & Barnes approached me to work exclusively for injured parties and in that area of law, I researched the firm closely and found their guiding principles to be aligned with my own, i.e., a caring, devoted and responsive practice focused on securing a fair and just result for those who have felt the diverse ramifications of suffering a personal injury.
It is a practice to which I can bring years of experience having dealt with the various insurance carriers and their counsel for the benefit of my clients. It is a practice in which I enjoy assisting individuals in crisis by providing some order and control as we seek compensation for the many facets of their injuries. As a life long Rochestarian, I look forward to being of service to those in this and surrounding communities.
