Alli - Weight Loss Pill

The FDA is investigating reports of liver damage in patients taking the weight loss pill, Alli.

The FDA has advised as of August 24, 2009, there have been more than 30 reports of liver damage in patients taking Alli and Xenical.  Xenical is the prescription version of the drug and is twice as potent as Alli.

The FDA is still investigating and currently has not established a direct link between Alli and liver injury and have, at this time, advised patients to continue using the drugs as directed.
