Topamax
On March 4, 2011, the FDA announced that it has reclassified Topamax from a Pregnancy Category C to a Category D. This category change is more serious and occurred after receiving information showing an increased risk of birth defects such as cleft lips and cleft palates among babies born to women who took the drug during early pregnancy.
