Campylobacter
Campylobacter is one of the most common causes of food poisoning in the United States.
Chicken is the most common food associated with this illness. Any raw poultry, such as chicken, turkey, duck, and its juices may contain Campylobacter. Other foods include unpasteurized milk, undercooked meats such as beef, pork and lamb and occasionally shellfish, fresh produce, and eggs.
Symptoms of Campylobacter include gastrointestinal issues, such as diarrhea, fever, and cramps.
