Rear End Auto Accident Case - Transcript

My name is Greg Pajak.  I am a senior trial attorney here at Cellino & Barnes and I have been an attorney for the past sixteen years, and I very much enjoy representing people who have been severely injured in personal injury accidents.  Very often times an insurance company won’t treat you fairly.  They think that you aren’t injured when you are or they that think you’re injuries are much less than what they really are.  So it takes an experienced attorney to be able to analyze your injuries, your medical records, and then fight with the insurance company to make sure that you get the compensation that you deserve.  Now, here at Cellino & Barnes, one of the main advantages is that we have the resources necessary to fight with the multi million dollar insurance companies because they will spare no expense to do what it takes to defeat your case.  So you have to have attorneys that will do what it takes to make sure that you win. 

Now one example comes to mind that I personally handled.  I had a case with a gentleman who was severely injured in a rear end automobile accident.  The insurance company wouldn’t even accept responsibility for the accident itself.  Additionally, the insurance company didn’t believe that my client was severely injured, so we had to go to Court.  We had a two week long trial, and all along the insurance company had offered my client nothing.  They refused to offer him anything even though he went through extensive surgery, was never able to work again, and had future medical expenses well into the millions of dollars, but still the insurance company wouldn’t offer anything.  And it took a jury listening to the medical evidence, listening to what happened in the case, calling all the necessary experts from vocational rehabilitationists to doctors to economists, to explain to the jury the true nature of my client’s injury and the extent of his damages.  And after hearing all of that proof, the insurance company came back and made a multi-million dollar award to my client again even though the insurance company had refused to pay my client a penny.  And I was very happy to hug him and his wife at the end of the case and congratulate them, and even though it didn’t make them better, even though it didn’t take away his pain and his suffering, at least he knew that he was able to take care of family in the future, and I am very proud of that result.
