Wrongful Death – Drowning Accident – Transcript

A few years ago I represented the family of a young boy who died tragically at school.  He died in a drowning accident during a swim class.  He was in middle school then and as the father of three, the case really struck close to home.  The family wanted answers.  They needed answers.  They needed to know what happened to their little boy and when they came to me and asked me to help them, it was a case that I think I will carry with me for the rest of my life. 

We were able to do a thorough investigation, bring in the best experts in the world to provide them with all the answers as to what happened to their little guy.  While what I did will of course never be able to bring him back to them, at least it was able to allow them to understand what happened.  But most importantly, it allowed us to hold those responsible for what happened.  The case was a very difficult case to prepare and a very difficult case to prosecute, but it was the type of case that really makes me know why I worked so hard to become a lawyer.
