Jeep Grand Cherokee Recall

Fiat Chrysler recalled over 1 million vehicles in April of 2016 due to a confusing transmission issue. According to the official recall, many drivers couldn’t tell whether their car’s automatic transmission was in the “Park,” “Drive” or “Reverse.”

As a result, the vehicle can move unexpectedly

The problem has caused dozens of injuries and it was suspected to play a role in the death of actor Anton Yelchin, known for his work in the rebooted Star Trek films.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the voluntary recall impacted 2014 and 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokees that were manufactured between July of 2012 and December of 2015. The recall also affected the following models:

  • Dodge Charger (2012, 2013, 2104)
  • Chrysler 300 Sedan (2014, 2015)
  • Jeep Grand Cherokee (2014, 2015)

Client Thanks

I would like to thank your firm for representing our family on behalf of my late husband. This whole process was, at times, difficult for us and sometimes painful. But, we were always in good hands as Brian and Maria are two of the hardest working and sincerest people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. They did a tremendous job.
