Enterobacter sakazakii

Enterobacter sakazakiiEnterobacter sakazakii is a rare cause of bloodstream and central nervous system infections.  This infection primarily causes illness in infants under the age of one as a result of ingesting powdered infant formula.

According to the FDA, powdered formula does not go through the same sterilization process as liquid formula and can become a breeding ground for bacteria.

If your baby has contracted the Enterobacter sakazakii bacteria, bacterial meningitis or other dangerous infection, or has died after ingesting powdered baby formula, please call our personal injury attorneys today.

If you or a loved one has contracted Enterobacter sakazakii, please contact our personal injury attorneys today.
